A Couple of Christmas Pics

Here are a few iPhone pics I took on Christmas Day at my sister's house.

This guy was ready for his close up.

I started to feel like a bovine paparazzo.

He really wanted to get close.

So excited to get this cookbook from my Mom.

Love this bird necklace from my sister.  It has all the words from the Emily Dickinson poem, Hope.

"Hope" is the thing with feathers—
That perches in the soul—
And sings the tune without the words—
And never stops—at all—

And sweetest—in the Gale—is heard—
And sore must be the storm—
That could abash the little Bird
That kept so many warm—

I've heard it in the chillest land—
And on the strangest Sea—
Yet, never, in Extremity,
It asked a crumb—of Me.

  1. I LOVE COWS. We have a goat dairy. They are like giant puppies.
